Cosmos Eradication Drive
Biological growth is always proportional to economical growth. It is very important to keep our environment healthy and safe for every creature living in that environment. It is our responsibility to grow the plants that are sage for environment and other biological creatures. The PICT NSS and Movement Against Biological Invasion (MABI) foundation teamed up for Cosmos Eradication Drive. Volunteers from both groups gathered on the 14th of October, 2023 at 7:00 a.m. and worked together to cut down the Cosmos plants. Our goal was tstroy all the Cosmos plants in the area to make the saver environment for native plants and other grazing animals. This was the remarkable event for PICT NSS volunteers and for MABI foundation as they continued their ongoing efforts to keep the surrounding frees from Cosmos plant.
Tree Conservation Activity
PICT NSS conducted a Tree Conservation Activity on March 2nd, 2024, amidst the picturesque hills near the Swami Narayan Temple, where volunteers planted native tree species, fostering environmental awareness and nurturing a sustainable ecosystem, aiming to instill a sense of responsibility towards nature and promote conservation efforts among participants.
