Origami Activity
We take the Origami activity with the thought of teaching students that there are infinite possibilities for creating unique things from one paper just like our lives. The way each student was provided just one paper and everyone created something unique out of it.
Diya Painting
On January 18th, a diya painting activity was organized for students in Kanjale village as part of an initiative to engage them in creative expression and cultural learning. The event aimed to provide students with an opportunity to explore their artistic talents while also learning about the significance of diyas in Indian culture, particularly during festivals like Diwali.
Palakhi Mirvanuk
The Palkhi for the Ram Mandir Inauguration Ceremony was a memorable and enriching experience for all participants. By actively participating in the rituals, songs, dances, and conversations, we not only honoured the traditions of the village but also strengthened the bonds of community and solidarity.
Makarsankranti Celebration
During our NSS camp in a rural village, we initiated our first day with the traditional “Tilgul Ghya, God God Bola” activity, a custom deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of Maharashtra. We began by meeting the villagers and exchanging tilgul, a sweet made from sesame seeds and jaggery, symbolising the warmth and sweetness of our relationship. As we offered them tilgul, they reciprocated, expressing their gratitude and joy. The villagers shared that they felt a sense of pleasantness and warmth from this exchange, which was heartwarming.
